What have I been up to and learning???

On May 21 I started standing, pulling up and crawling on all fours. No more army crawl!

On May 23 I said "uh-oh" and I can meow (or really I coo kinda high pitched) when asked "what does a kitty cat say."

On May 27 I said bottle.

I LOVE to dance - especially to Bluegrass. Daddy sits down with me near bedtime and I start shaking my arms in excitement. When daddy turns on Bluegrass I start dancing and slaping my thighs to the beat. It is so much fun.

I am always trying to drown myself in the bath. Mommy cannot get me to stay on my bottom!! I love to stand up and I inevitably end up slipping and dunking myself.... Good thing mommy is right there to save me!
Still no teeth! I am not a big sleeper, nighttime or naps. I smile all the time and it seems like at least once a day mommy is told I am the happiest baby they have ever met! I am, as the doctor said, a very determined baby!

Happy Memorial Day!! We went to Meermaw and Granddaddy's today. We started the day swimming.

And it is cold!!! I didn't last very long (neither did mommy - she was as big of a baby as I was)!! :) But, cold or not, I still loved the water!

My first boo-boo

Today mommy had a yard sale and Grandma came over to help. While Kayla and I were inside playing, she tripped over me knocking a wooden kitty (probably the one thing in the room that's mommy's and not a toy!) on my head. I cried for a few seconds, but ended up with a pretty bad mark on my head. :(

Mohawk

Mommy gave me a mohawk tonight during bath... So silly!

Daddy wasn't home (he went to dinner with Meermaw, Granddaddy and Uncle Bubba), so Kayla played while I bathed.... Apparently, she painted...

I have started waving a lot lately. I do the "backwards" wave. (I wave to myself - my hand is the wrong way.) It is so adorable!

Zoo!!!

All week the fair has been in the Kroger parking lot and my sister has been enthralled by the Merry Go Round. So, mommy decided to take us to the Zoo (and the merry go round there). We had a blast!

Today we went to Meermaw and Granddaddy's (soon-to-be) new property/house. We had so much fun!!!

After mommy nursed me, Kayla drove us to the creek on the property.
